emiLime in Peru

Currently, emiLime does all their handmade accessories production in Peru, although we did make some buttons out of tagua seed from Ecuador last year. Peru is home to so many amazing knitters and we are pretty lucky to have some great groups working with us from all over the country. We are getting ready to head off to Peru yet again to meet with our knitters and scout out some more artisan groups. emiLime's founder and designer, Emily E. Green, goes down to Peru several times a year to meet with the artisans that help make all the sheep wool and alpaca accessories. This year we plan on going out to the jungle to check out some groups there. A great deal of creativity is inspired during every trip to Peru, so we are excited to see what new designs come out of our upcoming adventure. Stay tuned for updates from our trip!
