A few of our favorite stores...

emiLime can be found at both online and in stores. Although we are proud of our online shop, we love our retailers and would like to give a special shout out to some right now. Being able to touch and feel the products is an important part of the experience and we encourage everyone to go visit some our stores. Please find one here by entering your zip code.

emiLime is expanding quickly and so is the demand for its cozy products. Since the birth of the company in April of 2009, we have gone from a small brick and mortar presence of about 20 stores to many virtual and brick and mortar stores around the country and world.

One of emiLime’s very first customers was a little boutique in Austin, TX named Creatures. Tucked between a hair salon and a jewelry store in Austin’s hippest of all shopping strips, Creatures Boutique has been bringing amazing soft, graphic tees, shoes, apparel, jewelry and an all around good time for eleven years. Besides being one of the first emiLime supporters, we love them for being a local business themselves and supporting so many local and worldwide artists and designers. Not to mention, they throw parties, openings, and trunk shows to showcase local talent. They really know how to turn fashion into fun.

Greenheart Chicago is new customer, but we are excited that they are carrying us! While the name implies its location, this nonprofit, eco-friendly and fair trade store is the only one of its kind in the Windy City. Emily met them at a trade show in Peru and it was a great match right away. Greenheart is fair to producers and good to the earth through its support of local, social enterprises and global fair trade partnerships. They even have an online store for non-Chicagoans to visit.

Probably the most inspiring story of all is that of our retailer Noonday Collection. After visiting Uganda and seeing the people’s distressful lives, founder Jessica Honegger began to sell Ugandan artisans’ locally made goods in order to provide them with a sustainable income opportunity. She really was inspired to create Noonday so that she could raise money to adopt a child in Rwanda, and not only did she raise enough money, but she is now helping other families adopt. Noonday has trunk shows throughout the country and an online store. They are such an inspiration!

Some retailers not mentioned, but still valuable to emiLime, include: Eve in Denver, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, Hammertown, Boise Co-Op Haba, Presents of Mind in Portland, Blue Skies in Boulder, and Artemisia.

We certainly couldn’t have made it to where we are today if it weren’t for these amazing companies. We hold each and every one of them close to our hearts, and hope that there are many more joining the list soon!
