Since some of us are still in the gleam of Valentine's Day, we wanted to send some love towards Eco Fashion's World blog as we kick off our ongoing series highlighting some of our eco-fashion friends to show you what else is going on in our piece of the world.  Eco Fashion World writes about some great topics in the world of sustainable fashion and they also provide links to many other like-minded eco-fashion enthusiasts, which we love!

The story behind Eco Fashion World starts with four people spread across three continents. Diverse individual backgrounds with same collective goals. They all believe in embracing personal style, all empowered by the possibilities of change. According to the founders, today being aware of what you wear takes on a very different meaning than it once did -  

It begins with understanding the global repercussions that come with careless consumerism. It continues with realizing that we are all linked, from New York to New Delhi, Paris to Pakistan, Brazil to Bangladesh, Vancouver to Vietnam, by the very strings of our garments. It evolves with recognizing that when we support eco and sociallly responsible fashion, we help reduce poverty and environmental damage, and help support workers rights. Our actions have an impact. Our decisions energize transformation. The eco fashion world is moving forward! Every day a new development is made in sustainable fabrics. An innovative designer creates a super-glam, socially aware collection. A boutique devotes itself to making ethical clothing more easily available. An admired celeb dons an eco-friendly gown on the red-carpet and declares the smartest style statement possible. Someone picks up her first bamboo fiber shirt or organic pair of jeans and instantly falls in love. 

Really, every day, a new conscionista is born. They are not selling anything on this site, but rather aim to inspire readers with new ideas, ideals and a wealth of information. The goal is to keep you green, gorgeous and growing with a comprehensive guide to finding sustainable designer brands and online eco fashion stores.  Search the guide by category, eco criteria or country and look to ecofashionworld for all the latest eco fashion news and reviews, events, designer q&a's, store profiles, launch updates and interviews with the most favorite ethical divas.  You can also learn more about organizations that are involved with the eco fashion movement.
